The Dong people can trace their ancestral roots back to the time of the Qin and Han dynasties over 2000 years ago when they made the remote areas of South-west China their homeland. Here among the steep mountains and wild rivers the men and women of Dong still practice in their daily lives a distingue and unique culture.
